STATE LEVEL PROJECT COMPETITION

Babasaheb Gawde Institute of Technology launched the "ThinkQuest" competition in the year 2002, to provide a highly motivating opportunity for students and educators to work collectivlely in teams to stepping into practical developmental activity which would be very useful in future to meet the expectation of industries. ThinkQuest aims to promote this facet by inviting participants to explore topics, collectively to achieve goals and develop interesting hardware and software that add meaningful content to today’s technology to add ease & fun to the fast competitive life.

ThinkQuest competitions are in two categories:

ThinkQuest Hardware Challenge.
ThinkQuest Software Challenge.

The ThinkQuest Competition is open to all students of Polytechnics in Maharashtra. This is the Eight successive year of this venture and we have grown in stature so far experience, expertise and technicality of organizing such event is concerned. The objective of this venture is to arouse the latent instinct of creativity and innovation of budding technocrats by offering them the appropriate launch pad.

Important Dates

1	Date of Exhibition	3^rd March, 2012. 4^th March, 2012.
2	Venue	BGIT Mumbai Central.
3	Last date of receiving completed Entry forms	04^th February, 2012.
4	Intimation to selected entries	Fourth week of February, 2012.
5	Reporting at the venue by all the selected teams with their models (Models to be made ready for exhibition by 8:00pm)	4.00 p.m. at BGIT on 2^nd March, 2012.
6	Inaugural Function	09.00 a.m. on 3^rd March, 2012.
7	Evaluation	3^rd and 4^th March ,2012.
8	Prize Distribution	4.00 p.m. on 4^th March, 2012.
